Farming In Your Yard!  A New "Farm" In Suburban Boston Is Growing All-Natural Vegetables, Herbs and Flowers

The Neighborhood Farm is a collection of market gardens in private yards in and around Needham, MA.  Homeowners lend us a portion of their yard and we grow vegetables, herbs and flowers.  In exchange, the owners receive produce from the gardens weekly during the growing season.  For more information visit About The Farm.

We have a stand at the Dedham Square Farmer's Market on Wednesdays from 1-6 pm.  The market runs through October 29th.

You can also order produce via email and pick it up in Needham.  Please subscribe to our newsletter - email subscribe@ theneighborhood farm.com.  You will receive a weekly email newsletter and a list of available produce. Reply with your order and pick up your produce on Mondays.

Check out our News Page! It has assorted stories and pictures. It was last updated on 8/4/08.  Our Photo Gallery has pictures from our various gardens sites and markets.  It was also updated on 8/4/08.

Farming The White House Lawn!

There is a movement afoot asking the next president to return some of the White House acreage to food production.  Historically, the White House (and almost every other house) grew some portion of its own food.  Click here to watch an interesting video from "Eat the View" about creating a kitchen garden at Roger Doiron's house in Maine and (hopefully) at the White House too.  Click here to sign the "Eat the View" petition.
