Empress Josephine Florals is one of our "side projects". Along with 2 other floral designers, we create flower arrangements for weddings, parties and events. We grow as many of our own flowers as possible - particularly dahlias, our personal favorites. To see photos of our work and to learn more, visit our website.
Held the first weekend of December, local artists and craftspeople open their studios to show and sell their work. We will be selling custom designed wreaths, greens and flower arrangements. For more information visit www.needhamholidaysale.com
Our compost comes from Ideal Compost in Peterborough, NH. This rich, certified organic compost is the reason we are able to grow so much food on land that was recently lawns.
The majority of our seeds come from Fedco Seeds in Maine. Fedco has an excellent selection of organic seeds and heirloom varieties. Their catalog is an educational resource in and of itself. Imaginative descriptions, black and white drawings, and growing information are just some of what you'll find in their catalog.
